NIAS is Pakistan’s national platform for transformative teacher education. We train, certify, and empower educators from Grade 1 to BS level to implement the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and the Model Assessment Framework (MAF).

About NIAS

The National Institute of Apex Studies (NIAS) is a pioneering national initiative established to strengthen teacher capacity in alignment with Pakistan’s newly introduced National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and Model Assessment Framework (MAF). These reforms mark a decisive shift toward outcome-based education, grounded in Bloom’s Taxonomy, critical thinking, and competency-driven instruction.

NIAS serves as a central platform for nationwide teacher training excellence—launching from Punjab with structured outreach to Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Through targeted programs in curriculum delivery, assessment design, and instructional leadership, NIAS equips educators to meet the pedagogical demands of this new national direction.
